Since mid-2006 Marshall Concrete Products has been affiliated with Chandler Concrete Company. Concrete masonry and hardscapes products are manufactured at the Christiansburg and Danville, VA plants.

Creating masonry blocks, pavers and decorative stone is very similar to methods used for clay bricks or ceramic pots. Concrete with specific characteristics is mixed, formed then “baked” in a kiln. This process is very efficient and automated, requiring very little manpower to achieve.

Mixes for concrete blocks and pavers have become very sophisticated and often include color or special aggregates to achieve certain architectural effects.

Concrete block can economically simulate brick, but bring with it all the benefits of concrete. Similarly, concrete pavers and stones are an affordable alternative to natural products.
